Upper Gwynedd Township to Host 31st Annual Carnival Sept. 8 to 11

Upper Gwynedd Township will have its 31^st Annual Carnival from Sept. 8 to Sept. 11 at 1 Parkside Place.

The carnival is a fundraiser for Upper Gwynedd Township’s Parks and Recreation department. The carnival times are listed below:

• Sept. 8:  6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  
• Sept. 9: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sept. 10: 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sept. 11: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There will be games, rides, prizes, and local food vendors. There will be a “Concert in the Park” Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at the amphitheater, featuring The Large Flowerheads. On Sept. 11, the Eagles game will be streamed. Fireworks will be launched on Friday and Saturday nights at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets will be sold each day of the carnival at the ticket booth. There will be no presale. There will be no refunds or exchanges. Wristband sales are listed below:

• Mega Bands - Good throughout the whole carnival (must be left on all four days to be valid.) = $50 per band *Mega Bands can be used for all days of the carnival after purchase
• Family Pass - Good for certain times *Thursday 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. / Sat and Sun 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. only. = $30 per pass *Family Pass Bands can only be used for the exact day of purchase
• Tickets will be sold each day - $1 each / 24 tickets for $20.00 / $64 tickets for $50
