The North Penn YMCA held their annual Community Leaders Breakfast Aug. 11 at the Holiday Inn in Towamencin to honor local community leaders.
The breakfast was dedicated to long time YMCA Volunteer Cortland Hill, who passed away a few weeks ago. He served as board treasurer, board president, and most recently as chairman of the North Penn YMCA Board of Trustees.
The event brought together YMCA staff, volunteers, donors, and community leaders from local government, school districts, businesses, and service clubs. Its theme was “Better Together,” which focused on the way area non-profits worked together throughout the pandemic to help the community.
The North Penn YMCA honored Suzan Neiger Gould, Executive Director at Manna on Main Street, with the 2022 Community Leader Award during the event.
Lansdale Borough Chief of Police Mike Trail was also recognized during the event for his longtime service to the North Penn Police Athletic League (PAL), a program of North Penn YMCA.
