Imprint Beer Co. Releases ‘Haze it Forward’ Charity Beer Fest Details, Tickets Now on Sale

Ever since Imprint Beer Co. opened shop in Hatfield Township, they’ve had a secondary mission of giving back to the community and fundraising for charity. There was the June 2019 Charity Cornhole Tournament benefitting a trio of local dog rescues, and, of course, the October 2019 Porktoberfest benefitting Manna on Main Street.

But their biggest fundraiser to date has been the annual ‘Haze it Forward’ Charity Beer Festival, bringing in a combined total of $45,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

“I’ve been fortunate to start a business in an awesome industry that’s built around social connections,” said Ryan Diehl, co-owner of Imprint. “We’ve always been thankful for the responses our efforts and our beers have received, so it has always seemed natural to reflect those concepts into giving back to our community.”

The inaugural “Haze it Forward” event was successfully held in 2019, however the 2020 event was scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic, which also caused the 2021 event to be modified and scaled down. This year, though, Diehl said the charity beer fest is back to full speed, with a list of more than 70 craft breweries being represented from across the nation.

“For many, this will be the first beer festival since COVID,” Diehl said. “We have 75 breweries from the across the nation, representing some of the best hazy IPA brewers. Many of the local breweries will be represented in person, and we’ll also have plenty of fruited sours, some stouts, lagers, and of course, our cold brew coffee.”

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 21 from noon to 4 p.m. at Imprint Beer Co., located at 1500 Industry Road Suite R in Hatfield Township. Tickets are available for purchase here, including discounted fees for designated drivers.

Proceeds from all ticket sales and raffle baskets will be donated to CHOP, Diehl said.

“We have taken the best aspects of all the beer festivals we’ve been fortunate to attend as customers and as vendors — exceptional beers, little if any wait for beers, fantastic food, friendly and knowledgeable staff — and spread it across the indoor and outdoor portions of our two suites,” said Diehl. “We will also be pouring four special hazy IPA collabs that we are brewing with five of the breweries in attendance. We’ll also be selling these in Core Packs — our boxed, mixed four-packs that people have been loving.”

Unlike prior years, the 2022 “Haze it Forward” event will not be reliant on food trucks. Instead, food will be provided via several special food menus from their in-house food service, Cantina Rabo, featuring creations from Chef Carlos Centeno.

“We’ll also be offering timed pours throughout the day,” Diehl said, “…and we’ll be raffling off dozens of merch items from many of the breweries, with all raffle donations going to CHOP.”

Diehl mentioned there may be a smaller event precipitating the beer festival the night prior, however they are still working on the details. Follow Imprint Beer Co. on social media for updates.
