Multiple area fire companies and police departments are on the scene of a vehicle fire at the intersection of Allentown and Valley Forge roads in Towamencin Township.
Crews were initially dispatched to the scene at 9:04 a.m. for a report of a vehicle fire. It is unclear what caused the fire at this time, though the scene remains active and traffic is backed up in the area.
Towamencin Police issued a traffic alert shortly after the dispatch advising motorists to avoid the area.
Crews from Towamencin Fire Company, North Penn Fire Company and Upper Gwynedd Fire Department are assisting at the scene.
