Recently, members from the Lukens Foundation presented a $5,000.00 check to North Montco Educational Foundation. The Lukens Foundation was established as a non-profit organization in March 2018 to honor the memory the sons of Tracy and Bryan Lukens, Bryan Jr. and Parker, who were tragically lost in a house fire.

The funds will help financially disadvantaged students at North Montco Technical Career Center offset the costs associated with their technical education programs. Eligible expenses include equipment, uniforms, or activity and dual enrollment fees. This generous gift will enable North Montco students to access items needed for successful learning regardless of their ability to pay.

The Lukens Foundation’s mission is to support youth development through sports, education, and community service. While many families want their children to participate in educational or sports programs, unfortunately, money is often the deciding factor.

North Montco Educational Foundation is a 501(C)3 that serves North Montco Technical Career Center. More information can be found at www.northmontcoef.org or by calling Denise Collins, Acting Executive Director, at (215) 368-1177 (ext. 303).
