Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on East Main Street in Lansdale

UPDATE: Sept. 22, 9:24 a.m. - The victim is being transported from the scene to Grand View Hospital in serious but stable condition, according to our sources. The age and sex of the victim has not been made available at this time.

Units from the Lansdale Borough Police Department and Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale are currently at the scene of a pedestrian struck incident in Lansdale Borough.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred at 9:02 a.m. near the intersection of Main and Broad streets. Sources tell North Penn Now the incident occurred near the Citizens Bank, and they described the victim as a “semi-conscious” adult.

It is unclear at this time if the victim has been injured, and the cause of the incident is currently unknown.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
