Green Lane Park Announces Fall Events

Green Lane Park announced upcoming outdoor events slated for fall. The public is encouraged to register to attend these upcoming family-friendly events.

Tree ID Made Easy

Saturday, September 18, 10 a.m.

On this guided walk, we will share tips and tricks for identifying native trees by their leaves, bark, and other field marks. We will also learn some fun facts about the trees and their uses past and present. The program will meet outside the Park Office (2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA, 18054) and is suitable for ages nine to adult. The program is free, but pre-registration is required. Call (215) 234-4528 to reserve your space. Masks are required for this outdoor program.

10th Annual Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival

Saturday, September 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come celebrate our wildlife heritage at this free family-friendly event. Programming features environmental exhibits, live music, live animal presentations, free hayrides, kids' games and activities, monarch butterfly tagging, and much more. There will be food vending on site, in addition to vendors offering local goodies like Maple Syrup, honey, and natural scented soaps. Stop by the “Eco-raffle” table to earn a chance to win merchandise donated by area merchants. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Green Lane Park. This event is free, and suitable for all ages. The festival will be held in the Park Amphitheater area (2298 Green Lane Road, Green Lane, PA 18054). Face masks are strongly suggested for this large outdoor event. Masks are required on the hayride.

4th Annual Haunted Campground Hayride

Join us for our 4th Annual Haunted Campground Hayride in the park! Enjoy a hayride through our spooktacular and creepy campground. Festive crafts and tasty snacks will be offered at this family-friendly event. This event is free and suitable for all ages. No pre-registration is needed.
