First Responders on Scene of Vehicle Crash at Pavilion Shopping Center in Lansdale

UPDATE: Oct. 25, 11:05 a.m. - Witnesses at the scene say the vehicle has been cleared, and the roadway is expected to reopen soon.

First responders are on the scene of a vehicle crash along the 600 block of South Broad Street in Lansdale Borough.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, police were dispatched to the scene at 9:18 for a report of a vehicle crash. Units from Fairmount Fire Company were also dispatched to the scene several minutes later.

It is unclear how the crash occurred or if any other vehicles were involved, but as a result of the crash, a Nissan sedan went off the road and onto the sidewalk in front of Burger King, where it came to a rest on an angle against a wall between a landscaping bed and the parking lot.

Injuries are unknown at this time.

The scene remains active, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
