From
a day with Hatfield’s police chief to a
weekend in Ocean City, NJ, Manna on Main Street’s new Auction to End Hunger is offering packages and prizes to suit nearly all interests.
The Lansdale-based nonprofit is hosting its first-ever online auction through October. Some 32 items are up for bid. Included are such experiences and services as:
- A day for up to three people with Hatfield Township Police Chief William Tierney.
- A daylong view of operations at the North Penn Water Authority.
- A "day of beauty” at Lansdale’s La Mirage Salon and Spa.
- A three-month custom coaching and training package from Sonic Endurance.
- A 16-week coached running plan from North Wales Running Co.
- A studio, home or location photography package from Chorus Photography in Harleysville.
- Three nights in a three-bedroom house near beach and boardwalk in Ocean City.
Other prizes up for auction include a hockey puck autographed by Flyers’ great Brian Propp; a baseball autographed by Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto; and gift baskets and cards from local retailers and restaurants including Bacco, ParcBistro, Miller’s Ale House and Olce Pizza.
All funds go to support Manna’s mission to end hunger in the North Penn region by providing food, fulfilling social service and education needs, and conducting community outreach.
Bidding continues through Sunday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m., at
www.biddingowl.com/MannaAuctionToEndHunger. Winners must pay online after the auction ends, and pick up items from Manna on Main Street's location at North Penn Commons, 606 East Main St., Lansdale, during specified times in early November. See the website for details.
