Lansdale Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident on York Ave Monday Night

Police activity on York Avenue in Lansdale at 9:12 p.m. on Oct. 4.

Lansdale Police are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred along the 300 block of York Avenue on Monday night.

Police were dispatched to the scene around 9 p.m. on Oct. 4 for a report of suspicious activity involving a large group of people. Investigators said an altercation occurred between a resident and the group of people, however the details surrounding the altercation were unclear.

Police on scene later determined that a single bullet from a handgun was fired from inside the residence, however no one was injured.
