Following a pandemic-related off year, Lansdale’s quirky named Mardi Gras Parade made its triumphant return to Main Street on Saturday afternoon.
With a theme of “Decades of Celebration,” the 2021 entry into Lansdale’s holiday lore was the first for Discover Lansdale and their army of community volunteers, who had been transitioning the event from its original planners since 2019. Area residents lined the streets from Mitchell Avenue to Memorial Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. as local first responders, sports teams, community organizations and, of course, Santa Claus, made their way through town.
