Green Lane Park Announces November and December Events

Green Lane Park has announced its upcoming events in November and December. The public is encouraged to register to attend these upcoming family-friendly events.

Waterfowl Watch

Saturday, Nov. 27, 1 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 4, 1 p.m.

Grab your boots and binoculars and join us for a birding road trip around Green Lane Park. We will carpool to three different birding hotspots within the park. Find out why Green Lane is one of the top birding destinations in eastern Pennsylvania. The program is free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Call (215) 234-4528 to reserve your space. Ages 12 and up, meet at Tennis Court parking lot, located at 2298 Green Lane Rd, Green Lane, PA 18054.

Holiday Craft Workshops

Friday, Dec. 10, 1 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. (two time slots)

Participants can choose from a variety of craft projects under the guidance of our skilled volunteers. Choose from “Winsome Woodland Critters,” a pine-cone wreath, “Holiday Wall Hanging," a holiday centerpiece, “kissing balls,” and more. All three workshops are for ages 12 to adult, program fee of $10 per workshop per person. Masks are required for these indoor programs. Spaces are limited, call (215) 234-4528 to reserve your spot. Please specify the date and time you prefer.

About Green Lane Park

Green Lane Park, in northwestern Montgomery County, offers a variety of year-round, outdoor activities and programs for people to choose from. Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children’s playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating, weather permitting. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to sunset.
