Arrest Warrants Issued for Lego Bandits After North Penn Now Readers Positively ID Suspects, Police Say

Hilltown Township Police are crediting North Penn Now readers for positively identifying a pair of suspects accused of stealing hundreds of dollars’ worth of Legos from the Hilltown Walmart.

Investigators initially issued a call for public assistance in identifying the suspects in September after they were caught on surveillance stealing Legos and other items from the Walmart located along the 1500 block of Bethlehem Pike. That call was renewed less than two weeks later, after the suspects returned to Walmart and stole more Legos on Oct. 1.

Police also said the duo were suspected of being involved in a similar retail theft from a Walmart in West Whiteland Township in Chester County.

The suspects have since been identified as Nathaniel Lehman, 29, and Ashley Craig, 26, both of Shenandoah. Hilltown Police offered their thanks to the readers who assisted with the investigation.

The duo was previously mentioned on North Penn Now in October 2020, after they were allegedly found passed out in their vehicle at a Wawa in Hatfield Township with heroin, needles and three young children. Court records indicate their cases are still making their way through the county court system.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects is asked to contact the Hilltown Township Police Department at 215-453-6000. Tips can also be sent electronically by clicking here.
