Police Seek ID of Burglars Who Struck Area Homes Over Halloween Weekend

Warrington Township Police are seeking public assistance in identifying and locating several burglary suspects who struck multiple area homes over Halloween Weekend.

Investigators said between Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, the suspects gained entry to multiple unoccupied homes by breaking a rear sliding door or window. The suspects then stole jewelry, cash and personal items from the homes.

The burglaries occurred in Montgomery Township, as well as Warrington, Buckingham, Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield townships in Bucks County. Two vehicles — a dark colored SUV and a white SUV possibly bearing an out of state license plate — have been linked to the crimes, and each vehicle had multiple occupants who were dressed in dark clothing, gloves and masks.

Investigators said the suspects were captured on multiple security systems and appeared to be speaking Spanish. Some of the stolen items were later recovered along a highway in Moorestown, New Jersey, police said.

Anyone who has information regarding the identity and whereabouts of the suspects, as well as residents of the affected areas who may have surveillance footage of the suspects or their vehicles, is asked to contact Warrington Township Police at 215-343-3311. Emailed tips or footage can be sent directly to detectives at [email protected], and anonymous tips can be sent by clicking here.
