Last month, Perkasie Police issued a missing persons alert for 50-year-old Matthew Branning, who was reported missing by his family and was last seen at his place of employment on Oct. 15 in Silverdale Borough.
Police said Branning may have been traveling in a silver Lexus SUV — bearing license plate registration KWS-5619 — in the southern New Jersey / Egg Harbor area. At the time of the alert, Branning had been missing for nearly a week.
The investigation into the disappearance took an odd public turn on Monday, however, as Perkasie Police released a second missing persons alert — this time for Branning’s coworker, identified as 47-year-old Michael Allen Stark. And, like Branning, Stark was last heard from on Oct. 15.
Police said Stark may be traveling with Branning, or operating Branning’s vehicle. No other information was provided.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Branning or Stark is asked to contact the Perkasie Borough Police Department at 215-257-6876 or call their local police department. Anonymous tips can also be sent by clicking here.
