Once the two men received the cash, the fled the scene, according to the release.

Responding officers arrived on scene just the men were exiting the bank, and after a brief foot pursuit, police tackled and arrested Moore. The report states that a portion of the stolen money was located inside of Moore’s pants.

Thomas was arrested several hours later, and was captured on surveillance video from a nearby residential area disposing of the cash, gun and his clothing, investigators said.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI, Salem County Prosecutor’s Office, Carneys Point Police Department and Penns Grove Police Department. The government was represented by U.S. Attorney Kristen Harberg, of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Camden, NJ.
