Lower Gwynedd Township Police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash that occurred on Dekalb Pike early Thursday morning.
According to a report by 6ABC, the crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. along the 500 block of Dekalb Pike between School House and Grasshopper lanes. The report states that the crash occurred within a construction zone and involved a tanker truck and a second vehicle.
One person was pronounced dead following the crash, and a second victim was transported from the scene via ambulance in unknown condition, according to Fox29. The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
