Investigators have made a second arrest in connection with a drug raid that occurred along the 500 block of West Fifth Street in Lansdale Borough early last month.

Rebecca Demasi, 22, has been charged with 12 felony counts of possession with intent to distribute, one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility and related conspiracy charges, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and related misdemeanor offenses in connection with the investigation.

During the first week of April, investigators from the Montgomery County Detective Bureau’s Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at the home as part of an investigation into the illegal trafficking of narcotics in the borough. The target of the investigation was 23-year-old David Graham, who was taken into custody by an arrest team just prior to the warrant being served.

According to the criminal complaint, investigators seized a large amount of evidence from the basement of the home, including large quantities of illegal drugs and U.S. currency, along with multiple firearms, ghost guns and body armor. Investigators said that Demasi is Graham’s girlfriend and stated that spends significant time in the basement, including overnights and time when Graham is not there.

The complaint states that as investigators entered the home to perform the search, Demasi was seen coming up from the basement. Additionally, investigators said that drugs, cash and a firearm were located among Demasi’s personal belongings, according to the complaint.

Demasi’s phone was also seized as evidence, and investigators said a review of the phone’s content provided further evidence of illegal drug sales, the report states.

Court records show that Demasi was taken into custody on April 28 and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Ed Levine, who set bail at $25,000 cash. She was transported to county jail after failing to post bail.

Demasi waived her preliminary hearing and is awaiting a date for her formal arraignment at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. She is being represented by Nicholas Reifsnyder, Esq., according to court documents.

Prior to this incident, Demasi was facing felony conspiracy charges stemming from her arrest by the Montgomery Township Police Department in September 2019.

In that incident, both Demasi and Graham were arrested after police allegedly found approximately $9,000 in cash, multiple scales, a money counter, multiple large bags of marijuana, numerous packages of vaporizer cartridges containing THC, multiple packages of a wax-like substance believed to contain THC, numerous empty heat-sealed bags and other paraphernalia used to package and sell marijuana, in their hotel room at the Staybridge Suites.

That case remains active for both Graham and Demasi, and both were out on bail at the time of their most recent arrests.
