Multiple Area Fire Companies on Scene of 2 Alarm Fire in Lansdale Borough

UPDATE: March 23, 11:22 a.m. - The fire has reportedly been placed under control. There is currently no information regarding injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Multiple area fire companies are on the scene of a two-alarm residential fire along the 300 block of Clear Spring Road in Lansdale Borough.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, units were dispatched to the scene at 10:31 a.m. for a report of a dwelling fire. Initial responding units stated that there was a fire on the porch of the home which was extending into the home itself, and the scene was then upgraded to a second-alarm.

There is no word on injuries at this time.

Responding units include the Lansdale Borough Police Department, Fairmount Fire Company, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, North Penn Fire Company, Worcester Fire Company, Perseverance Fire Company and the Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale.
