Hatfield Township Police have announced that the North Penn DUI Task Force will conduct roving DUI patrols throughout the North Penn and Upper Perk regions on St. Patrick’s Day — March 17 — in an effort to prevent and stop impaired drivers.
The release does not make mention of any stationary DUI checkpoints in the area.
The statement from the task force encourages residents to utilize alternative options such as Uber, Lyft, taxis and traditional designated drivers.
