Imprint Beer Co. will be hosting their annual “Haze it Forward” charity event this weekend, complete with musical performances, food trucks and beers from more than 30 craft breweries.
The event begins Friday, June 25 and will carry through Sunday, June 27. All pours for the weekend will be on a donation basis, and all donations will go to the ICU Division of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
“We’ve been patiently waiting for the pandemic to wane so that we can get back to our strong charity roots,” said Richard Sidman, co-founder of Imprint Beer Co. “When we asked our brewing friends to donate beers, they were uniformly excited to send us beers.”
Local punk rock band Merit will make their third visit to Imprint on Saturday night, following up on their 2019 Haze it Forward headlining performance, which was then succeeded by an acoustic set on top of Imprint’s walk-in cooler later that same year.
Merit is scheduled to go on Saturday around 8 p.m., following an opening by local favorites, Am0ra.
For this year’s event, Imprint and Merit collaborated on Pop Punch — a heavily-fruited, Schmoojee-style beer made with dragonfruit, sour cherries, mandarin oranges, pineapples and hibiscus petals.
“We’ve been releasing collaboration hazy IPAs with some of the country’s best breweries, which will continue throughout the summer,” said Brendan Connelly, also a co-founder of Imprint Beer Co.
Imprint is located at 1500 Industry Road in Hatfield, and is currently the highest rated Pennsylvania brewery, according to the Untappd beer review app. Imprint is open Fridays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
Food offerings are provided by a rotating list of participating food trucks.
