Man Pulls Fire Alarm, Challenges Cops to Fight then Spits on Officer, Police Say

Bryan Fowler, 35, of Philadelphia, was arrested on June 21 and charged with simple assault, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and making a false alarm to an agency of public safety, in connection with an incident that occurred at the Covered Bridge Apartments in Perkasie.

Police said they were dispatched to the apartments at 7:05 p.m. for a report of a man who was breaking things and had pulled the fire alarm. Upon arrival, police said the building had been evacuated and Fowler, who was visibly upset, aggressively approached police and challenged them to a fight. Fowler was detained, at which point he allegedly spit on one of the officers, police said.

Fowler was placed under arrest, at which point he continued to resist and attempt to kick out the windows of a police vehicle, police said. Investigators later determined that Fowler had stolen a fire extinguisher when he pulled the fire alarm, police said.

Man Charged After Punching Male Victim, Biting Female Victim

Joseph Foster, 58, of Southampton, was arrested on June 19 and charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment, in connection with an in Whitpain Township.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Cypress Point Place on June 19 at 9 p.m. for a report of an assault victim. Arriving officers spoke with a male victim, who stated that Foster had pushed him to the ground and the two engaged in a scuffle, police said.

A female attempted to break up the fight, at which point Foster bit her twice on the finger and arm, police said. Both victims sustained minor injuries as a result of the fight, and Foster was taken into custody. His preliminary hearing Is scheduled for July 8 at 11:30 a.m. in front of District Judge Suzan Leonard.

Assault on Facetime Leads to Charges for Lansdale Woman

Allexia Terrill, 22, of Lansdale, was arrested on June 21 and charged with simple assault and harassment in connection with an alleged assault that occurred in Sellersville.

Police were dispatched to the unit block of Nanlyn Avenue at 1:13 a.m. on June 21 for a report of a domestic disturbance. Arriving officers spoke with a male victim, who stated that Terrill had attacked him following a verbal argument, according to the criminal complaint. The victim had visible injuries on his neck, the back of his head and his face, police said.

The report states that a third-party had witnessed the assault occur via Facetime, which caused them to notify police. Terrill remains free on $50,000 unsecured bail, and her next court appearance is a preliminary hearing on Sept 7 at 1:15 p.m.
