Store Clerk Injured During Knifepoint Robbery in Hatfield, Police Searching for Suspect

Hatfield Township Police are seeking public assistance in identifying and locating a man who stands accused of robbing a local 7-Eleven early Monday morning.

Police said they were dispatched to the 1600 block of North Broad Street at 3:37 a.m. on June 21 for a reported robbery. Investigators learned that an unidentified white male entered the store, grabbed the cashier and forced him to open the cash registers at knifepoint.

The suspect was wearing a light-colored, surgical-type mask with a black hooded sweatshirt with a red Puma logo, a blue baseball cap on backwards, blue shorts and Nike sneakers. The suspect had his hood pulled up and over the baseball cap at the time of the incident, police said.

The store clerk sustained lacerations to their hand during the incident, requiring treatment at nearby Lansdale Hospital, police said.
