Lansdale Borough will soon have a new wine tasting room.
Pinnacle Ridge Winery announced last week that they intend to open a new tasting room at 34 Susquehanna Avenue. The brand was acquired in March by Allegro Wine Company LLC, who also owns the Stewartstown-based Allegro Winery and Brogue-based Cadenza Vineyards.
Carl Helrich, who is the owner and winemaker for the three brands, said he anticipates opening around Labor Day.
“It’s a central location between Brad’s former place near Kutztown and all the business we do in downtown Philadelphia,” Helrich said in an email. “It’s a great town, which already supports two breweries and a distillery, so it seems a perfect match for us.”
For those who can’t wait for the local opening, customers can order Pinnacle Ridge wines at www.pinridge.com. Pinnacle Ridge wines will also continue to be sold in grocery stores and Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, as well as in restaurants and breweries throughout suburban Philadelphia.
“We’re excited to have a new home for Pinnacle Ridge, where we can meet existing customers and welcome new ones,” said Helrich, “The tasting room will serve as a destination to keep the brand alive for Pennsylvania wine drinkers.”
