The search continues for a 26-year-old Neshaminy School District employee who disappeared after leaving Philadelphia on July 10.
On Monday evening, volunteers and authorities searched part of Lower Southampton Township near Tawanka Elementary School, which is near Cassandra “Casey” Johnston’s home.
As of Wednesday morning, Johnston remained missing.
Police said Johnston was last seen in the area of Vine and Franklin streets around 5:51 a.m. on Saturday, July 10.
She was last seen wearing the clothes she was pictured in. She was last spotted driving her silver 2016 Ford Focus sedan with Pennsylvania registration KSA8807.
Johnston’s vehicle, which has Temple Owls stickers on both sides of the hatchback, was last seen driving toward the ramps to I-95 in Philadelphia.
Johnston is a counselor and aide at the child care programs in the Neshaminy School District.
