Hatfield Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Catalytic Converter Thief

Hatfield Township Police are seeking public assistance in identifying and locating a serial catalytic converter thief who was recently spotted at a car dealership on Bethlehem Pike.

Police began their investigation into the thefts on July 7, when it was reported that a heavy-set white male — possibly with dark hair — was spotted stealing catalytic converters at a local car dealership. Police said the suspect drives a white Toyota Prius and is believed to be the same person that was involved in similar catalytic converter thefts in Chester County.

In the Chester County thefts, the male suspect was accompanied by a white female, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or have information regarding the thefts is asked to contact the Hatfield Township Police Department at 215-855-0903. Tips can also be submitted electronically and anonymously by clicking here.
