Investigators Find Heroin, Meth and Paraphernalia During Drug Raid in Sellersville, Police Say

A Sellersville man is behind bars on $100,000 bail after police allegedly found quantities of heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana at his home during a drug raid late last month.

Donald Freiwald, 58, of the 500 block of Barrington Court, has been charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, along with misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, in connection with the investigation.

Police said that between March 29 and June 25, they received information stating that Freiwald was in possession of heroin and marijuana at his home in Sellersville Borough. A search warrant was ultimately served on the home on June 26, according to the criminal complaint, which lead to the discovery of more than 100 individual bags of suspected heroin, edible THC and suspected crystal methamphetamine.

Investigators also said they also retrieved two digital scales, packaging materials and a written drug ledger containing the names of clients, financial information and types of drugs sold, according to the complaint.

Freiwald was arrested on June 26 and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $100,000 cash bail. His next court appearance is a preliminary hearing on Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. in front of District Judge Regina Armitage.
