A group of more than 80 people volunteered to clean up parks in Lansdale Borough, as part of the Day of Service initiative on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Volunteers included boy scouts and girl scouts, along with their parents, individual volunteers and members of area civic organizations. Additionally, state Rep. Steve Malagari and representatives from Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick’s office were in attendance.
In total, more than 40 bags of trash were removed from the parks, organizers said. Check out the photos below.
