A Lansdale man is facing felony drug charges after police executed a search warrant on a home in West Chester late last month.
Allieu Sheriff, 19, of Lansdale, has been charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance, five counts of delivery of a controlled substance, four counts of criminal use of a communication facility and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with the investigation.
Police said that on Jan. 28 at 8 a.m., they executed a search warrant at a residence along the 200 block of Price Street in West Chester Borough, following an investigation into drug sales at the location. The warrant uncovered numerous bags of suspected cocaine, a cell phone and drug paraphernalia, investigators said.
Sheriff was the target of the investigation, according to the release. Once in custody, he was transported to Chester County Prison after failing to post $25,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge William Kraut.
Court records indicate that Sheriff was bailed out on Jan. 29.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using court records and the affidavit of probable cause.
