Hatfield Borough Approves Interim Borough Manager

The Borough of Hatfield Council unanimously approved at their Dec, 15 Regular Borough Council Meeting to name Jaime E. Snyder Hatfield Borough Interim Manager effective Dec. 16. This announcement came in lieu of long-time Borough Manager Michael J. DeFinis’s retirement, which was announced in November.

Snyder, a lifelong resident of Hatfield Borough, has worked in the municipality since 2012 and served as Assistant Borough Manager since 2014. Snyder holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Organizational Management from Gwynedd Mercy University and a master’s degree in Public Administration with a Certificate in City Management from Villanova University.

Snyder has over nine years of experience in administrative and human resource management and was recently named a Certified Borough Official by the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs.
