Lansdale Police Seek Assistance in IDing Suspect Riding Dirt Bike on West Main Street

Investigators with the Lansdale Borough Police Department are seeking public assistance in identifying and locating a male suspect who was captured on dash cam performing a “wheelie” on a dirt bike on West Main Street earlier this week.

Police said they observed the male riding on the rear wheel of a dirt bike on Monday. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, however the operator did not yield and a pursuit was not initiated.

The release states that police have received several recent complaints regarding subjects riding dirt bikes and ATVs on the roadway, and they reiterated that the unregistered vehicle are not street legal and can cause safety concerns. Anyone who observes someone operating a dirt bike or ATV on the roadway is asked to dial 911 immediately.
