Green Lane Park Announces Summer Concert Series Sponsored by PECO

Green Lane Park announced today the lineup for its 2021 Summer Concert Series sponsored by PECO, and invites visitors of all ages to save the date for these live, open air performances. Four concerts will be held on Sunday evenings throughout the summer at the Green Lane Park Amphitheater located at 2298 Green Lane Road, Green Lane, PA 18054. Each event will be held weather permitting, and is free to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. Attendees can bring their own food and drink, however smoking and alcohol is prohibited. Parking is available on site at 2298 Green Lane Road.

Green Lane Park is following all current CDC guidelines for the mitigation of COVID-19 at the facility including mandatory mask wearing, social distancing, and capacity limits. All visitors must follow these guidelines.

The Red Hill Band was formed on December 6, 1900 at the Red Hill Hotel in Red Hill, PA. At the time, 22 members were involved with the organization. Today the Red Hill Band has more than 60 members under the direction of Norman E. Stull. Prior to Mr. Stull’s direction, Mr. Vincent Bercher was the director of the band for over 40 years. The band continues to grow and perform at many venues. Its members range in age from 16-93 years old. Many of their playing members are or were music teachers in various schools and colleges throughout the region.

Steve Pullara is a children’s and family concert performer and recording artist. He’s been ranked among the top ten entertainers of the Philadelphia region’s Intelligencer Newspaper. His work as a children’s genre recording talent and producer have garnered such top awards as a Grammy®, two Grammy® nominations, a U.S. Congressional Citation, various and numerous recognition awards from organizations such as Parents’ Choice, NAPPA and Hot Digitty Awards. These are among the children’s recording industry’s highest milestones. Steve has also collaborated in two PRPS Excellence Awards for Event Programming and received a Caring Community Award for sharing music & art with special needs children. His songs have consistently received international airplay to which he has accepted the ASCAP-Plus Award. He performs and writes for all ages and many types of settings.

Little Red Rooster Blues Band

Since their formation in 1988, the Little Red Rooster Blues Band have become one of the Delaware Valley’s premier blues bands, consistently delivering their own brand of blues, always combined with a crowd pleasing, high-energy performance and a whole lot of fun! To date, they have released seven albums of original material, all of which were widely acclaimed by critics and fans alike! In February of 2015, the band was inducted into the International Blues Hall of Fame, and in 2016, they were voted Best Band in Bucks County, PA, by the organization Bucks Happening. In July of 2018, the band’s album made Living Blues Radio Chart’s Top 25. Their passion and respect for the music, along with their ability to fully engage their audiences, virtually guarantees a phenomenal live blues experience, every time.

ABOUT GREEN LANE PARK

Green Lane Park, in northwestern Montgomery County, offers a variety of year-round, outdoor activities and programs for people to choose from. Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children’s playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating, weather permitting. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to sunset.
