A Lansdale man is behind bars after law enforcement executed a search warrant on his home last week, allegedly uncovering large quantities of drugs and cash as well as several firearms and a bulletproof vest.
According to two related criminal complaints spanning more than 60 pages combined, members of the Montgomery County Detective Bureau’s Narcotics Enforcement Team were conducting an unrelated investigation earlier this year when they uncovered information about the illegal trafficking of narcotics in Lansdale and elsewhere within the county. Investigators identified 23-year-old David Graham, of the 300 block of West Fifth Street, as the suspect, the report states.
Investigators said that Graham — using aliases of “Breed Hustle,” “Dricky” and “Geez” — was using social media app Snapchat to openly advertise and sell bulk quantities of marijuana, cocaine, Xanax, LSD, mushrooms and more. Once a person was ready to purchase, Graham would use his home in Lansdale to facilitate the sale and distribute the drugs, police said.
Through a combination of undercover police work and confidential informants, investigators were able to successfully arrange two controlled purchases from Graham in Lansdale, securing Xanax and THC edibles during the first purchase and Xanax, cocaine and mushrooms through the second purchase, according to the complaint.
Investigators were able to secure an arrest warrant for Graham, as well as a search warrant for his home, police said.
Early last week, undercover investigators arranged for a third controlled purchase of drugs, however when Graham reached the intersection of West Fifth Street and Kenilworth Avenue, an arrest team was waiting and took him into custody. Graham was found to be in possession of a concealed ghost gun, as well as 3.5 grams of suspected cocaine and a bar of THC edibles, according to the arrest report.
With Graham in custody, investigators executed a search warrant on his home, the report states. After the house was secured, a search was conducted which led to a large amount of evidence being seized, police said. According to the report, that evidence included:
As a result of the investigations, Graham was charged with a combined 17 felony counts of possession with intent to distribute, three felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility and one felony count of firearms not to be carried without a license, along with 17 misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and five misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Graham was arraigned on April 6 by Magisterial District Judge Margaret Hunsicker, who set bail at $100,000 cash. He was then taken to county jail after failing to post, and his next court appearance is a preliminary hearing scheduled for 11 a.m. on April 21.
Court documents show that at the time of his arrest, Graham was out on $25,000 cash bail while awaiting a pre-trial conference in May, in connection with a drug arrest in Montgomery Township that occurred in September 2019.
In that incident, Graham was charged with five felony counts of possession with intent to distribute, one felony count of receiving stolen property and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, after he was arrested outside of a hotel room on Garden Golf Boulevard.
A search of the room allegedly found approximately $9,000 in cash, multiple scales, a money counter, multiple large bags of marijuana, numerous packages of vaporizer cartridges containing THC, multiple packages of a wax-like substance believed to contain THC, numerous empty heat-sealed bags and other paraphernalia used to package and sell marijuana, according to the report.
