Upper Gwynedd Man Airlifted After Being Run Over by Own Vehicle

An Upper Gwynedd man has been airlifted for treatment of injuries sustained after he was run over by his own vehicle on Friday afternoon.

First responders were dispatched to the 700 block of South Broad Street for a report of a vehicle accident. Sources told North Penn Now that incident involved an unidentified male who was run over by his own vehicle. The cause of the incident is currently unknown.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered what the source described as “class-two trauma.” The male was subsequently airlifted by JeffSTAT helicopter to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Members of the Upper Gwynedd Police Department, Upper Gwynedd Fire Department and Volunteer Medical Service Corps assisted at the scene.
