On Monday, Hilltown Township Police announced the arrest of a Hatfield man on charges stemming from a disturbance involving an unwanted subject at a home along the 100 block of Fairhill Road.
Matthew Fuller, 34, has been charged with one count of felony burglary along with misdemeanor counts of defiant trespassing, possession of a controlled substance and a summary charge of criminal mischief in connection with the March 13 incident.
Police were dispatched to the home at 1:55 a.m. for a report of an unwanted subject. The report states that upon arrival, police discovered that a male subject — later identified as Fuller — had forced entry into the home and was still inside. Police said they located Fuller in the shower area of a bathroom and placed him under arrest.
The report states that a search of Fuller uncovered a needle and three bundles of heroin.
Fuller was arraigned later that morning by Magisterial District Judge Lisa Gaier, who set bail at 10% of $100,000 cash. Fuller was then taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post bail.
His next court appearance is a preliminary hearing on May 25 at 3 p.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using court records and the affidavit of probable cause.
