Lansdale Police Join Thanksgiving Food Drive for County Children and Youth Services

Lansdale Borough Police have announced they are participating in a Thanksgiving food drive in support of Montgomery County Children and Youth Services and families in financial hardship.

From now through Oct. 31, police will be collecting non-perishable food donations at the police station located at 1 Vine Street. Donations can be made at any time of day, and suggested items for donation include:

  • Canned green beans
  • Canned Corn
  • Canned sweet potatoes or yams
  • Canned turkey gravy
  • Canned cranberry sauce
  • Boxed instant mashed potatoes
  • Biscuit or corn bread mix
  • Boxed or bagged stuffing mix
  • Boxed dessert mixes

Police are also requesting grocery store gift cards ranging from $10 to $15, which will be used to by the receiving families to purchase a turkey.

In addition to the Lansdale Borough Police Department, donations can be made at other local police departments including:

  • Montgomery Township
  • Lower Salford Township
  • Souderton Borough
  • Horsham Township
  • Limerick Township
  • Jenkintown Borough
  • Marlborough Township
  • Upper Moreland Township
  • Upper Dublin Township
  • Collegeville Borough
  • Springfield Township
  • Hatfield Township
