Fire crews battled a house fire in the 100 block of Hancock Road, Upper Gwynedd Township, early Thursday morning.

At 2:18 am, Upper Gwynedd Police and Fire units responded to find the interior of the single family home well involved, according to Upper Gwynedd Police and CrimewatchPA. No residents were found inside, but a cat and 2 dogs were still inside.

The cat was located first and was barely breathing. She was given oxygen for about 20 minutes and greatly improved. After about 20 minutes of looking, both dogs were located and found to be in pretty good health.

Firefighters from North Penn, Fairmount, Montgomery Township, Wissahickon, Skippack and Center Square and the Lansdale Volunteer Medical Services Corps responded to assist.
