The Hatfield Township Police Department is investigating thefts from several vehicles which occurred during the overnight hours of Sunday, Oct. 25 through Monday, Oct. 26 in the area of Cowpath Road and North Line Street.
According to the Hatfield Township Police, some of the vehicles were locked, and the suspects forced entry by breaking windows.
A continuing community concern, police said, is the theft of items from the interior of motor vehicles. An iPad or cell phone sitting on the passenger’s seat of a car is eye-candy to a criminal. Even loose change is enough to invite some to break in. Police recommend removing valuables or hiding them out of eyesight.
