Montgomery Township Police to Host Fill-A-Truck Food Drive on Saturday at Giant

Montgomery Township Police Department will be hosting a Fill-a-Truck Food Drive event on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Wales Giant Food Store located at 1201 Knapp Road, North Wales, PA 19454.

The Montgomery Township Police Department, Department of Fire Services, and Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale will be outside of Giant filling their police vehicles, fire trucks and ambulances with non-perishable food items to be donated to Manna on Main Street and the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard. Shoppers will be encouraged to pick-up non-perishables as they shop and then drop them off to an emergency responder to help fill the trucks.
