Fundraiser Launched for Moyer Road Family Whose Home Was Damaged by Fire on Saturday

A fundraiser on GoFundMe has been launched to assist the victims of Saturday’s fire on Moyer Road in Hatfield Township.

According to the fundraiser, the Berry family has been displaced by the fire, which began in the attached garage at their home on Saturday morning. Lukas Berry, who posted the fundraiser, said that in addition to the extensive damage to the garage, the home suffered damage to the living room and bedrooms belonging to his brother and sister.

Additionally, two of the family’s vehicles were destroyed, as well as numerous tools belonging to the father, who is a home contractor.

“While material things can be replaced, I am starting this GoFundMe to help support my family get back on their feet; getting new tools, helping my brother get a new car, helping to get some new clothes and helping to pay rent wherever they may have to go,” said Lukas Berry, via the GoFundMe page.
