North Penn to Host Virtual Informational Forums on $500 Tax Rebate Program

North Penn School District (NPSD) welcomes community members to join them at two virtual informational sessions about its Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program, which can save eligible North Penn residents up to $487 a year.

These informational sessions will take place virtually using Zoom on Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

“Since its inception in 2018, we have saved more than 1,300 residents a total of $159,119 through our Tax Rebate Program,” said NPSD Chief Financial Officer Steve Skrocki. “We’re thrilled with these numbers and we want to see them continue to grow. That’s why this year, we revised the program to save our eligible community members even more money.”

In an effort to continue to spread the word about North Penn’s Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program, district administration has partnered with the NPSD Board of School Directors to host two informational sessions scheduled for this coming Tuesday. Both sessions will follow the same format. Led by Steve Skrocki, sessions will include an introduction to the program and how it works; an explanation of who is eligible to apply; and detailed directions outlining the applications process. The presentation will be followed by a brief question and answer session for community members.

“We want our community to know that this program is out there and we’d love to see everyone who is eligible taking advantage of it,” said Skrocki.

Information and links to attend these sessions virtually will be posted at www.npenn.org on the morning of the sessions. If attendees would like to participate in the Q&A session following the presentation, they must register using the Zoom link published on the website prior to the beginning of the session.
