Alright, so, here we are. We are currently living in a mostly virtual world. No, not like TRON virtual, but a world where a lot of normal activities have to be done via an internet connection and internet device.
Recently, Round Guys dove headfirst towards providing some live streaming concerts. This past weekend, we had The Dirty Mac and Big Handsome rock out on our patio — while still practicing social distancing, of course. It was really amazing to see and feel the live energy again, albeit with social distance. The Round Guys brand has a history of being an in-person experience. We create beers to drink with friends, new and old, at events where we can all mingle, laugh and enjoy ourselves. This pandemic has definitely put those types of social situations on lock down, but we’re pressing through.
As we work towards the yellow and green phases of reopening, we will continuing our streaming events, including the next “Make-a-Taco and Coloring Night” on June 2, hosted by Phil Deaver, on the Round Guys Facebook page, and Yoga with Sheridan on June 1 on The Underground Facebook page.
Our upcoming “Make-a-Taco and Coloring Night” will feature artwork by Keith Greiman. You may remember his artwork from our “Loving the Alien” beer can label. Also, if you haven’t heard by now, every Wednesday, the pub’s general manager, Andrew Carroll, will be announcing a limited time coupon code with the borough wide toast at 4 p.m.!
