A report on Monday by hyperlocal news outlet AroundAmbler.com indicates that Montgomery County Commissioner Ken Lawrence Jr. has tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The report, authored by Kevin Tierney, states that Lawrence announced that he tested positive via his personal Facebook page. Tierney said that Lawrence tested positive at the Pottstown testing facility, and though he is showing no symptoms, he is self-isolating for the next 14 days.

Tierney said that he reached out to the county regarding others having to quarantine, and the county responded that all individuals who came into direct contact with Lawrence would be quarantined per CDC guidelines.
