Recently, state Rep. Todd Stephens conducted a series of video interviews with first responders, healthcare workers and frontline workers regarding the impact that the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is having on the community.
Today’s interview features Dr. Larry Spector, medical director for TULIP Special Care, which is a sixty-bed skilled nursing facility that offers medical and rehabilitative care for medically complex, ventilator-dependent adults. Dr. Spector provides an inner look at the struggles that nursing facilities are facing, and what steps are being taken to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
