Two People Trapped in Vehicle Following Crash on Route 202 Parkway

First responders are currently working to free two individuals who became trapped in their vehicle following a crash on the Route 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred at 1:39 p.m. near the intersection with Welsh Road. Sources tell North Penn Now that the crash involved two vehicles, with one of the vehicles landing on its side, trapping the two victims inside.

No injuries have been reported, though emergency medical personnel are on their way to the scene. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

Montgomery Township Police are being assisted at the scene by units from the Upper Gwynedd Township Police Department, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Department and Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale.
