Providing nutritious meals to families during the school closure is of utmost importance to the North Penn School District. To this end, beginning Tuesday, March 17, the North Penn School District (NPSD) invites families and care-givers to drive through* and pick up free meals for their children.
Pick up locations will be located at the student drop off lane of the following schools:
Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, March 17, a grab-and-go lunch and breakfast will be provided to any children 18-years-old and younger. The menu, which includes dairy products, sandwiches, cereal, snacks, fruit and milk, can be found here. Lunch and breakfast will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided per United States Department of Agriculture regulations. Please stay in your car and meals will be passed through based on the number of children in the car. Meals must be eaten off site. No identification or student information is required.
Information about local food pantries can be found here for families that need additional support. Contact the North Penn School District School Nutrition Services Department at 215-853-1080 or [email protected] if you have questions about this service.
*Families who live very close to any meal site may walk to pick up their meals, but are asked to not congregate at the pick-up site.
