Pennbrook Middle School Production of ‘Mary Poppins’ Cancelled Due to Coronavirus Concerns

UPDATE: March 12, 5:32 p.m. - The production has been cancelled, following Gov. Tom Wolf's order to avoid public gatherings.

Beginning Thursday night, Pennbrook Middle School will play host to a multi-night, musical theater production of the beloved Disney movie, “Mary Poppins.”

More than 130 of the school’s seventh, eighth and ninth grade students are involved in the production, filling everything from cast roles to stage crew, art crew, pit orchestra and hair and makeup. Directed by North Penn’s own Katie Campbell, the production is a great experience for viewed of all ages.

Showtimes are as follows:

 

  • March 12 – 7 p.m.
  • March 13 – 7 p.m.
  • March 14 – 7 p.m.
  • March 15 – 2 p.m.

 

Each production is expected to run two-and-a-half hours, according to organizers. Tickets to each show are $8, and can be purchased online by clicking here.
