Police Seek ID of Suspect Who Stole 35 Pairs of Children’s Shoes from Burlington Coat Factory

Hilltown Township Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a male suspect that was involved in the theft of dozens of pairs of shoes from Burlington Coat Factory late last month.

According to the release, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Bethlehem Pike on Feb. 26 around 1:35 p.m. for a report of a retail theft. Upon arrival, police were informed that a male suspect had entered the store and proceeded directly to the children’s shoe section.

The suspect then selected 35 pairs of shoes, concealed them in a large shopping bag and fled the store without paying, the release states. The value of the stolen merchandise exceeds $750, police said.
