Officials from Upper Gwynedd Township have announced that construction on the Sumneytown Pike Bridge will begin next week.
According to the release, the construction is for bridge abutment repairs. Hours of construction are 9 a.m. through 3 p.m., and will result in lane restrictions and the closure of the outer lanes of the road.
The bridge is located between West Point Pike and Dickerson Road. Motorists are urged to use caution in the area, and plan ahead for any potential delays.
