Members of the Montgomery County SWAT Team-Central Region conducted training exercises in Hatfield Township on Wednesday morning.
The training began at 8 a.m. along the 200 block of Forty Foot Road at the Baum’s Meat Packing property. A large presence of police personnel and vehicles could be seen on location, though signs were posted in the area to let residents know there was training in progress.
Police said the training would continue throughout the day, and there was no need to be alarmed.
